Kanoe Naone
When Kanoe came it was very enjoyable! I loved her "soap box" speeches. She seems really passionate about what she does and I really admire that in a person. I have to agree with her in what she said about common sense being a Hawaiian trait. I know plenty of people who seems to be missing that trait! And its really hard to try to explain basic things to people when they donʻt have the capacity to understand it. I gained a sense of identity and what it means to be a Hawaiian woman. Rather than to be weak and confused about what to do I felt empowered that I could do anything (as corny as it sounds).
